Princess Diana's youth
Diana Frances Spencer, internationally known as Princess Diana, born on July 1, 1961, being from Sandringham, England. She was the daughter of Edward John Spencer, then Viscount Althorp, and Frances Ruth Burke Roche. Both his father and mother came from important families in the UK.
So Diana was born into a family that was part of the aristocracybritish, besides having descendants of two English kings of the Stuart dynasty. She grew up in a broken family environment because her parents had a bad relationship. They divorced in the late 1960s, and custody of the children was only decided in a court dispute between the two.
Diana had access to a good education, studying at elite colleges. During a part of her childhood she was educated at home, but later studied in different schools. In England she studied at Riddlesworth Hall and West Heath. Finally, in 1977, she was sent to Switzerland to study at the Institut Alpin Videmanette.
It was at school that Diana discovered her vocation for the arts. great pianist and dancer. Ballet, even, was one of the great passions of Diana's life. Finally, it should be mentioned that she received the title of lady after her father became an earl.

After completing her studies in Switzerland, Diana returned to England, settling in London. Initially, she settled in an apartment that belonged to her mother, but later got her own apartment. She lived sharing the space with two friends and sought to carry out a series of works in the English capital.
She took a cooking course, acted as a cleaner and nanny, worked as a ballet teacher, until she established herself as a children's teacher.

Diana came to frequent the more immediate circles of the English royal family. This situation started in 1977, as her sister, Sarah, was the girlfriend of Prince Charles. Charles's relationship with Sarah did not prosper, but his friendship with Diana grew quickly.
Diana met the prince in 1977, but from 1980 onwards, they became great friends and this closeness resulted in a relationship. The couple's approach caused the British press to speculate about a possible romance, and the royal family confirmed the rumors when they publicly announced that Diana and Charles were engaged. The announcement took place on February 24, 1981.
O wedding took place in St Paul's Cathedral, in London on July 29, 1981. The ceremony had around 2600 guests, but was attended by nearly 1 billion people around the world, being considered by many at the time as the “wedding of the century”. During their honeymoon, the couple visited locations in England, Scotland, in addition to taking a cruise on the Mediterranean Sea.
From the marriage of Charles and Diana were born twosons. the oldest, called William, was born in 1982, being second in line to the throne (behind only his father). the second is Harry, born in 1984.
Diana and Charles' marriage was not the happiest, and in December 1992, the couple announced their separation. Diana continued to live at Kensington Palace and the process ofand divorce stretched out until august 28, 1996. With the completion of the process, it was decided that she would receive compensation and an annual pension, in addition to being able to continue living in Kensington.
She, however, would no longer have the right to receive treatment as Her Royal Highness, but would still maintain her ties to the royal family.
Princess Diana's death
Diana's marriage to Prince Charles turned her into one of the UK's greatest personalities, having her life closely monitored by the English press. This was one of the factors that contributed to her relationship with Charles fraying. Anyway, after the divorce, she went on with her life, but she also continued to be pursued by the press.
In 1997, she began a relationship with an Egyptian millionaire named Dodi Al-Fayed. Her life continued to be watched by the press ostensibly until it turned into tragedy. On August 30, 1997, she had dinner with her boyfriend at the Hotel Ritz in Paris.
Al-Fayed and Diana left the hotel and were chased by paparazzi, who wanted to take a picture of the couple so they could sell it to English tabloids. The driver of the car, Henri Paul, started driving at high speed to get away from the paparazzi. However, he was under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs.
The result of this was a accidentfatal. Diana's car crashed into the Pont de l'Alma tunnel at a speed in excess of 100 km/h. The result of the accident was as follows:
Henri Paul (driver): died instantly;
Dodi Al-Fayed: died instantly;
Trevor Rees-Jones (security): He was seriously injured but survived.
Diana also suffered serious injuries and was rescued alive. She was taken to La Pitie Salpetriere Hospital and underwent emergency surgery, but she could not resist the severity of the injuries and died at dawn on August 31, 1997.
Diana's body was taken to England, where it was veiled. Her funeral caused a stir all over the planet, but especially in England, where she was a popular personality and much loved by the public.

Princess Diana's social work
One of the most memorable actions in Diana's life was her social work. Throughout her public life, she dedicated part of her time to acting in various causes. Her social work, in addition to her humble and empathetic personality, made her conquer public opinion and become known as princess of the people.
The two main social works carried out by Diana were in defense of HIV positive people, that is, people who had contracted Theids. He played a direct role in combating the prejudices that English society had towards HIV positive people. That's because, at the time, many people believed in false theories that said that AIDS could be transmitted by touch.
To combat this kind of rumor, Diana insisted on playing and publicly embrace HIV positive. Another outstanding work she carried out was combating landmines. In addition, she dedicated herself to numerous other social causes, seeking to help homeless people, drug addicts, among others.
