People who do not smoke directly are also in serious danger. the calls passive smokers, when compared to groups that do not have contact with tobacco, they have an increased risk of developing lung cancer and cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, such as asthma and pneumonia. Furthermore, babies of smoking mothers may be born prematurely or have low birth weight after birth.

The constant use of tobacco can cause dependence due to the presence of nicotine, which, in addition to all the harms already described, is capable of causing dependence similar to that caused by cocaine.
