The Japanese recession is caused, among several reasons, by the decrease in domestic consumption, since the population in its vast majority is composed of elderly people and these do not consume.
Approximately 85% of all industrial production developed in Japan supplies the domestic market, thus the country's economy becomes very fragile and dependent, the drop in consumption leads to recession.
With the drop in consumption, factories reduce the pace of production and automatically the number of employees, that is the main cause of unemployment in Japan, which currently stands at 5%, the highest since World War II World.
The gradual growth of unemployment presents a new reality in Japanese society that previously did not manifest itself in the country, such as poverty, the proof of this is the government itself that published that the number of people living on the streets of large urban centers had a significant increase from the 90s, before there were hundreds, today there are thousands, about 20 thousand destitute.
This question is one of the big problems facing the authorities of the big nation. technological potential and that still does not know how to live with typical problems of countries underdeveloped.
Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)
