The goddess of fortune. Agate, the goddess of fortune

In his infinite wisdom, the Magnificent Sovereign of the Universe had determined that the gold and all stones of appreciable value and beauty should be buried at different depths; and only in a few places could they surface.
It intended, in this way, to control the greed of men, who would thus undertake great efforts in the pursuit of the satisfaction of their ambitions. Therefore, in proportion to the effort employed they would develop the will and cooperation among themselves, the that would encourage the formation of team spirit and promote the continuous improvement of the intelligence.
The Great Lord took care to favor the slow but gradual development of the human race, for through work the forces of intelligence would rise; through collaboration among human beings the forces of morality would be intensely exercised, hastening the process of association and the improvement of civilization.
These goals having been fixed, that Sovereign called his daughter Agata and named her Goddess of Minerals, asking her to accompany all the process of elaboration of precious and semi-precious stones, establishing the respective quantities, colors and variations.

She explained her plan in detail and the goals she wanted to achieve; and asked him to come personally to, in the midst of Nature, determine the places where the stones would be hidden, as well as the traces that would be left to attract the attention of men and encourage them in search.
Unnoticed by Agata, the priestess Messina had heard all of the Sovereign's plans transmitted to her daughter. Messina loved to encourage greed among men and spared no effort to achieve her goals, not caring about the eventual consequences of her actions. And so decided, she immediately moved to the planetary surface and, disguised as a peasant woman, began to live in a locality of human beings that penetrated into the forests, opening paths and building temporary dwellings to shelter themselves while they dedicated themselves to the agriculture.
The goddess Agata, who had gladly accepted the task her father had given her, made extensive planning for the work to be performed, as she intended to carry out in a fully satisfactory manner the mission that she had taken over.
In the sketch previously drawn up, she had decided to divide the work into seven areas that would be developed simultaneously. To do so, she summoned seven princess friends of hers to advise her on the delicate operation.
Flattered by the unusual invitation of the goddess of Minerals, the seven princesses quickly presented themselves, ready to assume the functions assigned to them.
They came from the planetary surface, where each one performed a job, so they were already used to following and encouraging the exhausting daily routine of human beings. In the first meeting, the goddess of Minerals explained to the princesses the whole plan of work that the Sovereign, her father, had entrusted to her; and conveyed to them the details which she had already laid down in order to achieve the perfect attainment of the object.
With the unanimous support and approval of the princesses, the goddess Agata exposed the prerogatives of that each one of them would be in charge, the coordination and responsibility being under their care. general.
1. Princess Alina, Bringer of the Sun's Rays, responsible for sunrise and sunset will be in charge of the Gold;
2. Princess Evania, Guardian of the Blazing Mountain will take care of the Silver;
3. Princess Eriny, Protector of Crystal Waters will answer for the Diamonds;
4. Melia, the Princess of the Flowering Woods, will be in charge of the work with the Emeralds and Topázios, gemstones created by the goddess Agate, inspired by the exuberant beauty of a mountain she had seen in dreams.
5. Princess Miriane, Guardian of the Leafy Forests, will be responsible for the varieties of Beryl, mainly for the aquamarines that, due to their bluish color, were the Sovereign's favorites;
6. Princess Elidia, Guardian of the Sacred Fire of the Entrails of the Earth will take over the works with Rubies and Sapphires, precious stones; and with Tourmalines, semi-precious stones that delight everyone because of their colors (green, blue, black or pink), but which will not be produced in large quantities;
7. For Princess Valdênia, Guardian of the Cerrado Fields played the responsibility for the many stones that are found in quantities varied, in sparse places and that are very coveted, such as: Grenades, Opals, Andalusites, Cianites, Brasilianites, Euclasians, Spodumenes, Chrysoberyls, Citruses, Aventurines, Labradorites and others that eventually formed underground or were created in the throughout the work.
Having defined all the responsibilities, the Goddess Agata and the seven princesses moved to a beautiful palace designed by Magnificent Sovereign and built in the Bosque dos Sussurros Poéticas, between Águas Risonhas Waterfall and Suave Brisa Hill Evening. The place became, at the same time, an address and a base of operations.
Immediately upon arrival, work began on the preparation of the stones and the process of distributing species and quantities, according to the project developed. With the planetary surface completely covered by forests, rivers and mountains, the divine emissaries concentrated their works mainly in riverbeds and foothills of mountains, well disguising the places with signs that only they knew identify.
They did not need to worry about warning human beings in the various regions, as the priestess Messina, cunningly, he had already collected a good amount of gold nuggets and showed the villagers where resided in disguise. The news spread quickly, contaminating the men and stirring up the general greed.
Convinced of the abundance of gold and, probably, of other valuable stones, the men of the various villages began to abandon their occupations and, eager for riches, they left with their families in search of the location of the mines, orienting themselves by the information that the priestess transmitted to them, always with a lot of clarity.
And there was no way to go wrong. She cut trails and trails with a machete and built crude huts out of sticks and leaves, always close to the places to be explored. The rest was due to the Human Being's natural ambition.
She justified her attitude by believing that the work of the princesses and the goddess Agate was being done well; and the Magnificent Sovereign's goal was being reached, as the humans left in numerous groups and faced exhausting journeys in the eagerness to find the long-awaited riches. They began to live in the workplace with their wives and children and, for several months and even years, they devoted themselves to the grueling daily struggle in uncontrollable anxiety.
The goddess Agata and the princesses continued to direct the work of creating stones and, in varying amounts, they buried them in places far from each other, always aiming to achieve the objectives established by the Sovereign. They observed the groups of human beings that moved for long distances, traversing the hinterlands inhospitable and tearing themselves apart with their families in places they thought were favorable to the opening of new mines.
As they passed, they left open trails that would later be covered by other men, mainly by traders who transported them on the back of donkeys the goods needed to supply the population, such as clothes, shoes, blankets, towels, household utensils and trinkets of all kinds. types.
One day, the little princess Mirna, the youngest daughter of the goddess of Knowledge, Sofia, descended alone to the planetary surface and, walking through those places she came across a group of children who were playing entertained, while the parents worked. She realized that children did not study and their knowledge was limited to the limited environment in which they lived. They did not know how to read and write, they ignored arithmetic and did not know the rudiments of Science and the outside world.
Intelligent and well educated that she was, she was outraged by what she had witnessed and ran to tell her mother goddess. Recognizing that Princess Mirna's complaints were serious, the goddess Sofia promised to examine the issue and forward a solution. He made his reflections and sent Princess Nilcéia to invite the goddess Agata on a date.
With the scheduled date and time, the meeting was scheduled at the top of Serra das Formosas Águas Encachoeiradas. Upon learning of the facts, the priestess Messina immediately abandoned her activities, as she if he remained on the surface his interference would soon be discovered and this would bring him serious annoyances.
The goddess Agata and the princesses were the first to arrive at the agreed place. They positioned themselves to wait, but immediately afterwards the goddess Sofia, Princess Nilcéia and the little princess Mirna arrived. After the usual greetings, the goddess of Knowledge exposed the
her daughter's complaints and asked the goddess of minerals for an explanation of the plans and goals to which she was so devoted.
The goddess Agata explained in detail the intentions of the Magnificent Sovereign and how he had been striving to achieve the full realization of the divine plans. But the goddess of Knowledge complained that the ideals of evolution advocated by the Magnificent Sovereign could not, under any circumstances, despise the competition of education. A heated discussion arose between the two sisters, each defending their ideas and proposals.
Agata claimed that the wealth achieved by parents would favor their children, as they would have a better life; and they were also learning many important things in the travels and travels they made with their parents and others. Sofia maintained that this learning process was very limited. She reinforced her arguments by enumerating the three basic pillars of Education:
1) INTELLECTUAL INSTRUCTION: that from the correct use of language and reasoning allows the human being to acquire all the knowledge essential to life and work;
2) MORAL FORMATION: which gives the human being the ability to discern between good and evil, between right and wrong; and it favors the perfect evolution of the social group from the elaboration and adoption of acceptable rules of conduct and habits by the members of a group;
3) PHYSICAL EDUCATION: as a way to promote the development of
external and material qualities of the human being.
Princess Nilcéia even suggested that the problem be taken to the Magnificent Sovereign, but the two goddesses did not agreed to give up their goals or partially give in and thus could not establish a base of understanding.
At that moment an intense ray of light was projected and through it appeared the beautiful and radiant Hélvia, goddess of Fortune who, from a distance, accompanied the whole debate.
Interested in collaborating with her sisters, she had been accompanied by seven princesses, her assistants. Asking permission to speak, she promised decisive help to resolve the impasse. She recognized the right of parents to seek better living conditions for themselves and their children, which justified the commitment to work at the cost of painful sacrifices until they reach their goals.
She recognized the obligation of parents to educate their children to ensure them a solid foundation in preparation for a dignified and balanced life. He recognized as meritorious the intention of his Sovereign father to, through greed,
to encourage men to work together and thus create a springboard for moral and intellectual progress. And finally exposed his plan:
a) The goddess Agata would continue with her task, creating wealth and distributing it, however, she would encourage men to send their children to studies;
b) The goddess Sofia would strive to encourage the opening of schools in towns and villages and would offer perspectives for intellectual and moral growth to attract children and young people;
c) It would ensure Fortune to young people who, through the knowledge acquired and supported by the work of their parents, would become fit for a life full of achievements.
To demonstrate her clear determination she had asked for the collaboration of the princesses responsible for the arts. They would assume functions on the surface, disseminating knowledge and practice of the arts they represented: music, singing, painting, drawing, poetry, literature and sculpture.
The goddess of Fortune's plan was warmly received and unanimously approved. As they applauded, the Divine Ray projected itself over them all, confirming the absolute agreement of the Magnificent Sovereign who saw his plan understood in all its extension:
PROFICULOUS WORK+EDUCATION=FULL ACHIEVEMENT OF THE HUMAN BEING.
(Artistic Physical Intellectual Moral) That would be the case.
