Instructional textual genres

All of us, at some point in our lives, have had the opportunity to turn to an instruction manual, a medicine package, isn't that right?
In fact, we live with an infinity of texts, but due to the rush of daily life, we do not pay attention to the details that are peculiar to them.
The question of language is a clear example of this occurrence. Therefore, we will emphasize the structural aspects of the so-called instructional texts, which belong to the textual genres, whose purpose of the speech is to instruct, to guide about something.
Part of this modality are: game rules, explanatory leaflets, tasting instructions, cooking recipes, city guides, among others.
In an attempt to further establish our knowledge on the subject, we will analyze a text that portrays this typology:
Blender pies

Ingredients of this recipe
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup (tea) of soy oil
- 1 cup (tea) of milk
- 1 cup (tea) of curd
- 1 spoon (dessert) of salt
- 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour

Preparation mode
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Then, grease the molds suitable for empadinhas, put the dough halfway through and then, what you chose for the filling, complete with the dough until it covers the entire filling. Before putting them in the oven, arrange all the molds on a baking sheet, one next to the other, and take them to bake in a preheated oven, until they are golden. They are easy to make and delicious!

Tip: Use whatever you prefer to fill the pie: shredded chicken, cheese cubes, ham cubes, palm heart pieces.
Analyzing the verbs, we realize that they are found in the imperative, as it is a way to induce the reader to do something. Thus, one of the relevant characteristics is persuasion.
As for the language, it has a appealing function, restricted to objectivity and clarity of ideas, resembling informative texts in general.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)
