Do you know the meaning of easter? For those who don't know, Easter means 'passage' and refers to a religious commemoration: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. With that in mind, we selected several Easter activities to print.
For Christians, the week before Easter is called Holy Week. This week starts on Palm Sunday and symbolizes Jesus' entry into the city of Jerusalem.
The celebration takes place annually on Sunday, after the first full moon of the equinox, which occurs in early spring, in the Northern Hemisphere. In this way, the date is set between March 22nd and April 25th.
Rabbits and eggs are the main Easter symbols. Many people present their family and friends with chocolate eggs to reinforce the importance of this date: the beginning of life.

In schools, this theme is also widely represented. Many activities are developed to interact with students and provide a moment of reflection.
If this is also your goal as an educator, check out some easter activity templates that can be used in the classroom during this celebration period.
