According to historians, the indianswere the first inhabitants of Brazil. This fact was confirmed when the Europeans, in their Great Navigations, arrived in the Americas.
Constituent part of our DNA, as well as influencing the Brazilian culture, the Indians suffer daily threats. Every day its population has been reduced, in addition to its customs having, for the most part, difficulty in maintaining itself.
In the government of Getulio Vargas a day was instituted in honor of these people, being celebrated in April 19, the Day of the Indian. So this is an attempt to keep memory and history.
To help with the topic, Escola Educação provided some images of Indians to print and color with students, in the classroom or even as an activity to do at home!
